How did Trinity Church and Calvary Presbyterian Church come together to offer a joint VBS program this summer?

Both of our churches have a history of independently providing a VBS program for our church and community.  Calvary has been doing VBS here for many years, and for the past three years, Trinity Church, a church plant of Riverside Community Church in Warminster, has been holding their VBS at Phil-Mont Christian Academy in Erdenheim, PA.

Whereas Trinity used to hold their worship services in the Springfield Township community, this past fall Trinity found a new home base at Calvary Presbyterian Church where they have their worship services and children’s Sunday school classes at 4:00 each Sunday afternoon.

This past winter we realized that we had two churches planning to run VBS in the same location.  We considered running two independent programs on two different weeks in the summer.  This plan definitely had merit.

Ultimately we decided that since we serve the same God, have similar goals of teaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the children in our churches and our community, we would capitalize on our unity in Christ as we work together to plan and implement Cave Quest VBS 2016 for the glory of God.  This also satisfies our desire to build relationships with one another as we share the same buildings

We are excited about our partnership in the Gospel, and we hope your children can join us August 1-5!
